Stranger sets Florida woman on fire at gas pump after she refuses to hand over cash
Police say a woman was pumping gas into her car at a St. Petersburg, Fla. station when a stranger came up to her and deliberately ignited gasoline with a lighter. Eleanor Crawford, 41, was arrested.

- 2. Crawford then allegedly asked her for money, and when the victim refused, the encounter took a terrifying turn: Crawford pulled out a lighter and set the gas nozzle ablaze, police said.
- 3. The victim suffered second-degree burns on her arms and back and was rushed to Tampa General Hospital. She is expected to survive.
